I have always been a swimmer diving deep into that
I have not charted, searching for some semblance of my own
misty water logged ideals; though I can only hold my breath
for so long before I shoot back up towards the light.
Sometimes I'll dive again into the same waters where I
found no treasures; and sometimes I'll simply leave behind
what could have been my fated dive.
I'll always be a swimmer though.
When I float too long, the sharks nip at me.
